i'm just dying over their outfits! so bright and colorful!
if i had a photo shoot and the family showed up wearing this, i'd think i had died and gone to heaven.

heart bokeh...

i saw this heart bokeh project over at black eiffel about a year ago and i wanted to try it. but, of course never got around to it. but, since valentines day is just around the corner, i think i'll have to really get serious about it this year. it looks like a ton of fun, and i love experimenting with photography.

i'm looking for 1-2 people to assist me in my holiday mini-photo sessions i have this saturday november 1st in slc. the morning sessions will be in downtown slc, and the afternoon at wheeler farms. let me know if you are interested in doing the morning, afternoon, or both.

summer just ended, but the holidays are soon approaching.. and fast.

currently loving my little vintage fan. such a sweet baby blue color. and, bonus, it actually works.. but, i like my fingers too much to actually use it.

a little project..

working on a little paper project that includes lots of these little flower punch outs. unfortunately, i ran out of the paper and have to pause my little project until i can run to the store tomorrow and get more. i'll share the finished project soon, that is if i ever get to it.

{nice winter weather...}

... brought me outside the past few days. i just couldn't help it. today we went for a three, [yes i said three] hour walk/run/snow drudging/mud walking/snow sitting/photo snapping adventure. and, i loved every minute of it.

hope to share my recent projects soon. just been a little distracted. but, as tomorrow calls for more snow.. i guess i'll have to stay inside. boo.

:: i had moules [mussels] today for lunch. nothin' better than these cooked with butter, garlic, + parsley. my mom used to make these slimy little things for us when we were in france + i guess i just like them not only because i think they are good, but also for the memories they stir up. i love how food can do that to you! ::

:: we were able to go around on saturday and practice doing a little photo shoot with her cute cousin [she was such a good sport to have a bunch of us amateurs in her face all morning] ::

:: we practiced shooting outside with different lighting on her and in the studio ::

:: these are a few of my shots, the top one was outside and the bottom one was in the studio [just added the revamped pics nicole helped us adjust in photoshop] ::

:: man, i couldn't believe how much studio lights help, i felt that even i could take a decent shot with the help of good lighting [there is hope for me, i just have to buy thousands of dollars in photography equipment.. thats all] ::
