just wanted to pop in to let you know that i will be on KSL channel 5's Studio 5 show this Friday, March 9th at 11:00 am.  so, feel free to tune in all you local utah peeps!  (i'll try to post a video after the show friday for you non-locals!)

the bijou market ...

phew!  this weekend was a crazy busy one, so i am glad i survived. 

the bijou market was a huge success!  thanks to all who purchased some armelle jewelry!  

this was my table at the bijou market.  the lighting was terrible in the corner i was in, so forgive me for the terrible flash photography picture.  i loved the look of my vintage music sheets in the background, but as you can see below, they melted a bit over the weekend.  oh well.  

thanks again!  and, i hope to see you all at the beehive bazaar in less than two weeks.  which means, i have a lot more jewelry to make... again!

thanks to all who supported us locals at the bijou market last saturday. and, a special thanks to those who bought my armelle jewelry!

the location was perfect! very fun!

i also came away with some fun goods! how can you not?

i've put a few of the new items in my shop, but keep checking back, because i'll be adding more everyday.

it's officially summer for me now that all my shows are over for a little bit!

i'm looking forward to the sun, pool, and projects, projects, projects! you wouldn't believe how many things i have sitting around that need to be painted...

can you believe it's already that time of year?

is it me, or does time just fly by these days?

anyhow, this spring i'll be selling my jewelry at two shows!

the first one will be at piper & chloe.

this will be my first time participating. i dropped by last year, and they had the most darling stuff! i can't wait for the show this year. it is in farmington, utah.. only 15 minutes north of salt lake. so worth the drive if you are coming from the south.

spain, on the road again ...

have you ever watched, spain, on the road again?

i got hooked one saturday morning, and watched it all day long episode after episode.

it follows gwyneth paltrow, mario batali, mark bittman, and claudia bassols around spain on a culinary adventure. they eat, they shop for food, catch fresh seafood, cook, play, and eat some more.

every time i watch an episode it makes me want to go to a fancy restaurant and eat something i've never tried before.. dish, after dish.

if you ever see this on tv. stop and watch a few episodes. they are enjoyable!

i also believe you can download the episodes from their website, here, and watch never before seen scenes and view recipes.

it just takes a little planning. start writing your christmas list today, and keep in mind who you are shopping for when you go to these shows. trust me, you'll find much more unique items at these shows than at a mall, and they are handmade with love... and often times a bargain!

if you are shopping on etsy or other handmade sites, keep in mind the time it takes to ship and plan ahead for that so you can have all your goodies here on time.
