i love this headboard from
lonny magazine.
i'm thinking of re-doing the headboard in my room (see below) with some fun fabric. any suggestions?
i used
these instructions to make my headboard about seven years ago... i think it's time to spruce it up with some new fabric.

I loved that fabric from Lonny also! I just finished making my little girls bed this weekend with fabric from fabric.com. Tons to choose from on that site! Ty Pennington has a line there now and I love the Chartreuse & Gray section

I need a headboard... I'm in student accommodation and the bed is just right up against the wall, which I can't do anything about. Its so annoying to not have something to lean against in the mornings when I'm reading before actually getting out of bed!
I think a soft pattern would look really nice, something along the lines of Timorous Beasties print - I love the bees and toile. Google them!

Love the headboard! Actually I had originally googled how to make a headboard of my own years ago and your website popped up. I have been a loyal reader since then!! Love all your wonderful ideas and links to other cute/interesting things!
We are planning on making a new headboard too. Who knows when we'll get around to it...I've been saying it forever now!
